In seconds, with as little information as a phone number or name, Altitude members can verify a prospect’s identity, criminal records, bankruptcies, liens, judgments, address history and property records all in one place, leading to safer and more productive interactions. This is not only critical for your personal safety and efficiency, but also a benefit to your listing home owners, providing an added layer of protection for their homes and families through your vetting of prospective buyers.

When you sign up for FOREWARN you agree to the Summit Association of Realtors Member Agreement.  Please see below.

Setting Up Your Free FOREWARN Account

As an Altitude member, setting up your free FOREWARN account is quick and easy!

  1. Click here and enter your email address when prompted to do so (be sure to use the same address that this email was sent to).
  2. You will receive an activation email from FOREWARN, open it and click the link as instructed. If you do not see the email, be sure to check your junk/spam folder.
  3. The link takes you to a page where you will enter the last 4 digits of your phone number.
  4. If the first 6 digits of the number displayed are not related to your cell phone number, please contact FOREWARN Support at 561.757.4551 to update them with your correct cell phone number.
  5. You will be prompted to enter a confirmation code that will have just been texted to that phone number. Upon confirmation you will be prompted to create a password.
  6. Now you are ready to download the FOREWARN app by clicking on the appropriate link below from your mobile device, or searching for FOREWARN in the app store:

  7. After activating your account, you can also log into your FOREWARN account from any web browser via the FOREWARN.com homepage (click ‘Sign In’ at top-right) or via this link: https://app.forewarn.com/

Searching FOREWARN in Seconds

  • FOREWARN provides instant & mobile identity verification and public records (criminal, property, court, etc.) for over 98% of the U.S. adult population.
  • With FOREWARN’s roughly 90% coverage of mobile and residential phone numbers, you should be able to search and verify most people from their phone number alone.
  • When you are unable to find an individual in FOREWARN using a phone number, this does not necessarily mean fraud or criminal intent.  FOREWARN users are encouraged to gather further details and use the additional search functionality (the “Search by name” link) within the FOREWARN app to ensure verification of the prospect.
  • Name search tip: When searching by name, if there are more than 100 results to your query, FOREWARN will display “Too many records found” and prompt you to re-run your search using additional criteria
  • Phone search tip: If you search missed calls from telemarketing companies (typically they will not leave a voice message), you will get the result “Record not found” because that phone number has never been owned by, or associated with, a person.

IMPORTANT – COMPLIANCE:

Please note that you must limit your FOREWARN searches to professional uses only. FOREWARN activity is actively monitored to ensure proper use by our Subscribers as outlined in the Subscriber Agreement and the FOREWARN Terms and Conditions.  FOREWARN is a powerful tool intended only for the increased safety and efficiency of your business. Proper use of the service by real estate professionals ensures that we can continue to provide this valuable tool to the industry.

Altitude REALTORS® – Member Agreement Regarding Use of FOREWARN Program

This Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between Altitude REALTORS®, a Colorado corporation having an office at 352 Lake Dillon Drive, Dillon, CO 80435 (“SAR”), and ALTITUDE REALTOR MEMBERS CHOOSING TO USE FOREWARN,

RECITALS

  1. Altitude REALTORS® has entered into a license agreement with FOREWARN LLC (“FOREWARN”), which is a company that provides a real-time, mobile app-based information to the real estate industry, as updated from time to time (“Services”);

 

  1. Altitude REALTORS® offers the Services to its members, subject to the terms and conditions of the agreement between Altitude REALTORS® and FOREWARN and further subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement;
  2. NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the promises and mutual covenants set forth herein, SAR and Member hereby agree as follows:

AGREEMENT

  1.       Requirement to Remain in Good Standing with Altitude REALTORS® and FOREWARN. As a condition of Member’s ability to use the Services, Member agrees to comply with FOREWARN’s credentialing policies and procedures, and to comply with reasonable rules and regulations that Altitude REALTORS® may issue to Member from time to time as needed for Altitude REALTORS® to remain in compliance with its obligations under its license agreement with FOREWARN. Member acknowledges and understands that, pursuant to SAR’s license agreement with FOREWARN, Member’s ability to use the Services may be suspended or revoked for reasons including, without limitation, Member’s failure to remain in good standing with Altitude REALTORS®.

 

  1.       No Warranties; Limitation of Liability.  Altitude REALTORS® makes no warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the Services, including, without limitation, those as to accuracy, currentness, completeness, timeliness, or quality, warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, and those warranties that might be implied from a course of dealing, course of performance or trade usage. THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED TO MEMBER BY FOREWARN “AS IS”.  ALTITUDE REALTORS® AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AFFILIATES, AND REPRESENTATIVES SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY FOR, AND MEMBER AGREES NOT TO SUE SAR FOR, ANY CLAIM RELATING TO OR ARISING OUT OF MEMBER’S USE OF THE SERVICES, OR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO OR ARISING OUT OF FOREWARN’S PROCURING, COMPILING, COLLECTING, INTERPRETING, REPORTING, COMMUNICATING, OR DELIVERING THE SERVICES TO MEMBER. IN NO EVENT WILL SAR BE LIABLE TO MEMBER, ANY CUSTOMERS, PROSPECTS OR OTHER ENTITIES FOR DAMAGES MEASURED BY LOST REVENUES, LOST PROFITS, LOST BUSINESS OR BUSINESS EXPECTANCY, OR FOR ANY OTHER INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO MEMBER’S USE OF THE SERVICES, WHETHER OR NOT SUCH PARTY COULD HAVE FORESEEN SUCH LOSS OR WAS ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH LOSS. 

 

  1.       Nondiscriminatory Use of the Services. Member acknowledges and agrees that Member has been advised of the possibility that selective and inconsistent use of the Services by Member could result in a claim of discrimination brought by a third party. By way of illustrative example only, if a Member uses the Services to screen prospective buyers or sellers that fall within a protected class (under any applicable local, state or federal law), but not other prospective buyers or sellers, Member could face a claim of discrimination. Member covenants to use the Services in a nondiscriminatory manner, and to hold harmless and indemnify Altitude REALTORS® from any claim of discrimination or other similar cause of action brought by any party as a result of Member’s use of the Services.
